Grand rounds
Grand Rounds utilises the breadth and depth of clinical resources at Westmead Private Hospital to provide a unique educational forum for the benefit of all who participate. In an era of subspecialisation, it is a refreshing privilege to be able to relax and enjoy the intellectual stimulation of colleagues.
Westmead Private Hospital (a teaching hospital of the University of Western Sydney at the Western Clinical School) is a venerable institution, offering a broad range of highest quality clinical services. Many practitioners at Westmead Private Hospital hold senior teaching and research positions at the University of Sydney, and elsewhere.
Two specialities are represented at each Ground Rounds session. The sessions are open to all accredited VMO's, hospital staff and local GP's. This is a free service to all participants and includes breakfast prior to the session. Times 0740 – 0900. A flyer is sent to all VMO's & GP's prior to the meeting.
