A/Professor Saurabh Kumar is a Cardiologist, Cardiac Electrophysiologist, Staff Specialist and Program Director for Ventricular Arrhythmias and Sudden Cardiac Death at Westmead Hospital and Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine, Sydney Medical School, University of Sydney.

Special Interests:

  • Catheter ablation of all forms of atrial arrhythmias (atrial fibrillation, flutter, atrial tachycardia), ventricular arrhythmias (ventricular extra-systoles, sustained ventricular tachycardia), and supraventricular tachycardias (accessory pathways, atrio-ventricular nodal re-entrant tachycardias)
  • Cardiac device implantation and follow up including pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronisation therapy devices and the newly available, totally external subcutaneous defibrillator
  • Management of familial cardiomyopathies such as idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy and arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy as well as inherited arrhythmia syndromes such as Long QT and Brugada syndromes

Dr Bassem Gerges (Bas) understands the importance of providing high level care in a supportive environment. He has a passion for providing the latest medical and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery with quality, specialised obstetric care to support women throughout their pregnancy. He holds the highest level of accreditation (RANZCOG/AGES Level 6) in Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgery in Australia. To complement his specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Bas has also completed an additional fellowship in Gynaecological and Endometriosis Ultrasound and a two‐year fellowship in Advanced  Gynaecological Surgery, accredited with the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES).

Dr Andrew Stephens is a fellowship trained Foot and Ankle Surgeon who has a wide experience in managing acute sporting and trauma of the lower limb as well as painful long term conditions of the foot and ankle. He began seeing foot and ankle conditions as a level 2 sports trained physiotherapist and progressed to completing an Honours degree in Medicine from Sydney University and completed Specialist training through the prestigious Northside Orthopaedic training program Australian Orthopaedic Association. Dr Stephens has completed fellowships in sports, trauma and arthroplasty in Victoria and the highly sought after Sydney Foot and Ankle fellowship. He has been operating in Switzerland with the esteemed Prof Hintermann with experience gained in sports injuries and managing the arthritic foot and ankle.
