Dr Brahman Sivadumar is an orthopaedic surgeon who has an interest in the management of hand, wrist and peripheral nerve conditions.
After obtaining his medical degree from the University of New South Wales in 2007, Brahman underwent orthopaedic training at centres throughout NSW and Qld. He completed his surgical training in 2017, before sub-specialising in hand surgery via the Post Fellowship Education and Training (PFET) programme under the auspices of the Australian Hand Surgery Society. He has also completed the Carl Zeiss Microsurgery Fellowship at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore, India, and will maintain his skills by undertaking training in the United Kingdom and Europe in the future.
In addition to his clinical practice, Brahman has a strong interest in research and academics. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and a book chapter, and has had the opportunity to present both locally and internationally. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney, where he is undertaking a combination of clinical and laboratory research.
Brahman has both public and private hospital appointments, and performs surgery on all conditions of the hand, wrist and peripheral nerves, as well as general orthopaedic trauma.
