Dr Fong graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2011. After internship and residency, she commenced training in Cardiothoracic Surgery and obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2023.
Dr Fong completed her training and Fellowship years at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital.
Dr Fong also completed a PhD in congenital cardiac surgery. She is currently appointed at Westmead Public Hospital, Westmead Private Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital.
Interests include:
- Coronary artery surgery
- Valve surgery
- TAVI, pacemaker and defibrillator insertion
- General thoracic surgery including minimal access techniques
