Dr Vanaja Siva is an Australian and UK trained Adult & Paediatric Otolaryngolgist. She joins us following dual sub specialist fellowship training in Otology & Auditory Implants and Paediatric ENT surgery at the Oxford University Hospitals in the UK.
Dr Siva obtained her medical degree with honours from the UNSW in 2005 and completed her ENT training in 2013. Her training was undertaken through rotations across Sydney’s tertiary centres (Randwick Children’s, Liverpool, Westmead and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals). She has presented in national and international meetings and was also a recipient of the RACS Clinical Committee Prize for the highest score in college examinations.
Dr Siva was awarded sub-speciality fellowship training at the Oxford Auditory Implants Centre-John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals, UK. It is a Fellowship program accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. This was also complemented by clinical secondment to the Otology and Skull Base Unit at the Cambridge University Hospitals, UK.
Dr Siva is appointed as a VMO at Nepean Public Hospital, a teaching hospital for the University of Sydney and the RACS-Otolaryngology. She is actively involved in teaching and training ENT trainee registrars and medical
