Dr Sara Wu is a General Surgeon who has an interest in Oncoplastic Breast Reconstructive Techniques. In addition, she provides services in the areas of thyroid and parathyroid surgery, as well as general surgery, including laparoscopic gallbladder and hernia surgery.
Sara completed her general surgical training across several major tertiary hospitals in New South Wales including John Hunter Hospital and Liverpool Hospital. After successfully completing the surgical training program, Sara was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). Sara then underwent post fellowship training through Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand (BreastSurgANZ) at Gosford Hospital and the prestigious Breast Cancer Institute at Westmead Hospital. During this rigorous training, Sara gained expertise in advanced breast oncoplastic reconstruction techniques as part of breast cancer treatment.
