Dr Kam completed neurosurgery training in 2000, he attended Stanford University Medical Centre for a Spine Fellowship from 2000-2001, returning back to Australia in July 2001. Since then, he has concentrated on all aspects of spinal surgery including artificial disc replacement surgery, motor perserving surgery and minimally invasive spinal surgery. He has been a leader in new minimally invasive approaches to the spine and has been invoved in the development of Robotic Assisted Spinal Surgery.
