Dr Tingmin Li is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She has an interest in high-risk pregnancies. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin whereby she is an effective communicator and able to provide holistic care for patients from various backgrounds.  After completing her medical degree from the University of Western Australia, she began her O&G career as a junior doctor at King Edward Memorial Hospital, where her dedication to women’s health became evident. She aims to provide individualised and evidence-based care for her patients.

She relocated to Sydney in 2016 and completed her core specialist training at Liverpool Hospital. In her 4th year of training, she was assigned the role of the Birth Unit Fellow and worked closely with the Birth Unit Director in the management of high-risk obstetric patients. During her advanced training years, she undertook a maternal fetal medicine fellow role at Nepean Hospital and commenced on her Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound. She completed her advanced training as an advanced obstetric fellow at Westmead Hospital.

Dr Tingmin is committed to providing evidence-based care for her obstetric and gynaecological patients and is currently pursuing her Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound to become a certified sonologist, ensuring the delivery of top-tier care. Her professional expertise extends beyond obstetrics to encompass the management of various gynaecological conditions, offering medical, office gynaecology, and surgical interventions such as Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy.

Drawing from personal experience as a mother of twins who underwent a high-risk pregnancy, Dr Tingmin recognises the significance of comprehensive and high-quality care for her patients. Committed to guiding individuals through the entirety of the reproductive journey, from pre-conception, antenatal and postpartum care, she actively listens to patient concerns and develops personalised management plans.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Tingmin engages in both formal and informal medical student education and serves as a mentor to junior doctors. This involvement includes providing support in clinical settings, offering career guidance, and assisting with specialist examination preparation.

Dr Tingmin works as a Staff Specialist at Blacktown Hospital and conducts Obstetric and Gynaecological ultrasounds at Ultrasound for Women.

Beyond her professional commitments, Dr Tingmin enjoys quality time with her family. Her interests include enjoying good food, traveling, and volunteering at animal shelters and place of worship.
