Dr Mehmet Harapoz is a general adult Cardiologist with an interest in cardiac imaging and interventional cardiology.
He has completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New South Wales earning a Bachelor of Medical Science degree and subsequently completed his medical training at Western Sydney University in 2015. Dr Harapoz completed his Basic Physician and Cardiology Advanced Training at Westmead Hospital in Sydney. He received his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2024.
Currently Dr Harapoz is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in cardiac imaging including echocardiography and CT coronary angiography. He has presented at national conferences and published multiple research articles. He is a Clinical Associate Lecturer for the University of Sydney.
Dr Harapoz believes in holistic, evidence-based medicine and prioritises effective communication and a compassionate approach to patient care providing highly personalised and readily accessible medical consultations.
Dr Harapoz is fluent in English and Turkish.
