Dr Kim Loh obtained his undergraduate medical degree with honours in 1997 from the University of Sydney. He went on to undertake surgical training and successfully completed and obtained his Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2006. He was appointed as the Surgical Superintendent in Westmead Hospital in 2006. Since 2007, he has held VMO positions at Blacktown, Mount Druitt, Norwest Private and Westmead Private Hospitals.
Dr Loh is well trained in general and laparoscopic surgery, with a special interest in colorectal surgery. He has also received training in robotic surgery. He is a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and is qualified to perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
Dr Loh is also conversant in Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay/Bahasa.
