Dr Amy Cao is a General Surgeon with subspecialty training in colorectal surgery. She is qualified in robotic, laparoscopic, transanal minimally invasive and open colorectal and general surgery.
Dr Cao graduated MBBS with distinction and subsequently undertook Master of Surgery, Master of Medicine (clinical epidemiology), Master of Biostatistics and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Dr Cao trained in general surgery in NSW/ACT and was awarded her Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’ Fellowship (FRACS) in 2021.
She then completed colorectal specific fellowships by the highly regarded Colorectal Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ).
