Dr Marisa Martin is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. After completing her medical degree at the University of Sydney she underwent her specialist training at Westmead, Blacktown and Auburn Hospitals.Currently, Dr Martin is a Staff Specialist at Blacktown Hospital where she runs the High Risk Pregnancy and Antenatal Endocrine Clinics. She also runs both Gynaecology and Contraception Clinics. Private obstetric and gynaecological services are available at Westmead Private and Norwest Hospitals.
After attaining her Fellowship in 2014, Dr Martin has been a Clinical Lecturer with both the University of Sydney and UWS. She has acted as a training supervisor since 2015. She is also an examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). Dr Martin is a member of AGES (Australasian Gynaecological and Endoscopy Surgery Society) and is a registered Colposcopist with the ASCCP (Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology) since 2014.
Dr Martin aims to provide holistic professional care during pregnancy and labour, working with each woman to allow for a safe and fulfilling birth experience. She also offers a wide range of gynaecological services to women at all stages of life including management of family planning, abnormal Pap smears, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain and prolapse. Bulk billing is available for all pensioners and follow up visits.
