Dr Amy Goh

Dr Goh is a specialist Gynaecologist and Advanced Gynaecological Surgeon as endorsed by the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgery Society (AGES). Dr Goh is dedicated to providing holistic care in Benign Gynaecology (including pelvic floor issues and vulval conditions) and Advanced Gynaecological Surgery (laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, abdominal and vaginal Surgery). She understands the importance of engaging women in all decision-making about their health, and believes that clear communication, supportive attention, and patient education are vital aspects of any health management plan. Having had an international upbringing in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Australia and USA, Dr Goh has a keen interest in caring for women and families from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

Dr Goh graduated with honours from The University of Sydney Medical School. She attained her Fellowship with RANZCOG whilst training at Westmead Hospital. She went on to undertake a 2-year AGES-accredited fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Advanced Gynaecological Surgery. She currently holds a public appointment as a Staff Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Westmead Hospital. Prior to studying medicine, Dr Goh received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University.

Dr Goh is actively involved in research and medical education. She is a published researcher who has won multiple awards and scholarships for her research in women’s health. She has completed an MPhil (Medicine), and is a Clinical Lecturer with The University of Sydney Medical School. In addition, she is a mentor and strong supporter of junior doctor training and is an accredited Training Supervisor for RANZCOG.
