Dr Cree trained through the University of Sydney and the Australian Orthopaedic Association Training Programme from 1995-1998. Fellowship of the RACS was awarded in 1998. Subspecialist fellowship training in spinal surgery was undertaken at Royal North Shore Hospital in 1998. Further training in adult and paediatric spinal reconstructive surgery was then completed at the University of Miami and Miami Children's Hospital in 1999 and a Faculty appointment in the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery and Neurosurgery, University of Washington was undertaken 1999-2000. This latter exerpience allowed further comprehensive training in all disorders of the spine in children and adults. Comprehensive training in Cervical spine, Keyhole surgery and Image guided techniques was obtained along with further experience in the management of trauma and spinal deformity. Dr Cree has a special interest in teaching and is the Director of the Spine Surgery Fellowship programmes at CHW and RNSH. He is the Director of the Children's Spine and Scoliosis Service at the Children's Hospital Westmead and is an active member of the Spine Society of Australia and the Scoliosis Research Society. Dr Cree currently practices in the North Shore and Westmead areas. He holds VMO appointments at the Children's Hospital Westmead, Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospitals. He provides clinical services at the Mater, North Shore Private and Westmead Private Hospitals.
